MonsterBag‘s art style, presentation, and soundtrack are commendable. Its weird and eccentric world drew me in to the point where I attentively watched all of the un-skippable cut-scenes out of curiosity.

MonsterBag is a charming experience that doesn't last long, but we think everyone should at least give it a try, particularly if they get it with the PS Plus subscription.

This puzzle platformer starts great, then looses some of its momentum along the way. It's still a small, curious project, and it might be really worth a try.

Good ideas and a fun artistic approach for a game which is too short and, sometimes, a bit confusing.

If you’re itching for an abstractly touching adventure game, spring for MonsterBag. There aren’t many other options for this genre on the Vita.

Monsterbag is an interesting experiment with a really nice presentation, superb art and adequate music. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same about the gameplay. Despite the creativity in some puzzles it feels repetitive, confusing and short. IguanaBee has a lot of potential, maybe in future games we will be greatly surprised.

The high level of creativity on display in MonsterBag’s humour, art style and character is commendable. Sadly, the game is on the short side and offers little replay value to back it up.

MonsterBag is a nice bit of light puzzles and charming slapstick, at least until the narrative drives it towards something more serious and mechanical that ups complexity and challenge, but almost feels like a different, less personable game.

IguanaBee hit the nail on the head of creativity and capturing my attention with their unique character and world design. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the gameplay, which is unusually redundant for such a short game.

As it stands, Monster Bag is an amazing cartoon if you can painstakingly make your way through the lesser parts.
