In a move that shows the team’s dedication to the project, the game sees a slew of updates, even though the game is nearly a year old...The game runs beautifully with the only negatives coming in the obvious lag issues that tend to plague online games.

The keyboard, joystick, and gamepad all work, but this game was designed with a wheel in mind. You’re cheating yourself if you play without one.

Unfortunately, the included manual is among the least informative ever written and the in-game interface is more than a little clunky.

While it functions properly, Motor City Online simply doesn't have anything that makes it worthwhile as an online game... All of the things that make it "online" add up to fluff.

It’s unfortunate, but the experience – at least for now – is awkward, plodding, and, worst of all, inconsistent.
