A huge-sized actioner best enjoyed in co-op for double the carnage.

Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2 simply repeats a lot of the mistakes of its predecessor and proves that it wasn’t just the escort missions holding Uzumaki Chronicles back: it was an overall flawed design.

Now, with sharpened graphics, more features, and an original story, Uzumaki Chronicles is fine for fans of the series. But the battles are a little stiff, and the relationships between locations, characters, and events would be confounding to Naruto newbies.

Doesn't hold a candle to the fun-filled action of the Naruto anime or manga.

The weakest title yet from the Naruto series. It feels unsurprisingly familiar, and lacks any real punch.

Not a real strong contender in the Naruto franchise, but it will probably be a hit with kids who watch the TV show. For all others, it's probably best to rent before you buy.

It does lack that touch of genius that Nintendo brought to its Pokemon series, but for what the final product represents and whom it will appeal to, the match is ideal.

The Naruto license does little to compensate for this forgettable brawler's undemanding combat and tedious story.

This franchise is quickly heading for the bottom. This is one of the few second installment to expand on the original in more than just character selection. Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2 is for serious fans only.

But fan feelings about the story aside, the narrative isn't the only part of this game that doesn't do the source material justice. The gameplay is pretty bad too.

Sadly, Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2 is a button-masher devoid of all the things we love about the show or fighting games in general.

We recommend that only the most dedicated, noble, selfless, and utterly brave Naruto fans try this game out.

The only thing a causal fan will appreciate is they toned down the excruciatingly annoying soundbites. That, we do applaud.

This might make a good present for your nephew's upcoming birthday, but for those looking for a good Naruto game worth sinking your teeth into, you're better off plunking down for one of the Ultimate Ninja games.

A bit of a let down, really.

Despite a well-developed combat system, Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2 is a generic beat ‘em up title with minimal redeeming features. Unless you liked the first game, there are better Naruto titles available that offer a more pleasing experience.
