A thousand yards beyond any other college football game.

An outstanding game, with excellent gameplay and a deep set of features. Finally, the PS2 has a genuine A+ sports title.

It’s a fantastic college football game, and as of yet, completely without a collegiate equal.

This game is all around faster (than "Madden 2001") which makes the controls feel even tighter.

Offering a compelling mix of solid graphics and college-specific gameplay, along with the best dynasty mode to date -- NCAA Football 2002 is without competition.

Certain gameplay issues aside, as with its NFL counterpart, NCAA Football 2002 is oozing with a variety of features and gameplay options.

The animations are so stellar, I don't know where to begin. Just about every action in the game has a well-implemented animation that will knock your helmet off.

The secondary play continues to be a sore point, and the CPU still can't run the ball effectively with the default AI settings. On the positive side, the human-controlled running game is as good if not better than "NFL2K1" on the Dreamcast.

The NFL has always been my game of choice but NCAA Football 2002 has caught my heart. It's not perfect but it's the most fun I've had with noname players in years.

It's one of the best sports games on the PS2, and it's definitely the best college game around.
