Those who don't explore the new mode won't notice too much of a difference with past entries, but this is still a huge game, and hardcore hockey gamers will have a field day.

Despite limited additions over last year, NHL 11 is not only the finest ice hockey game available today but one of the finest sports titles period. A wonderful achievement and one that sport gaming fans owe it to themselves to try.

NHL 11 is mere evolution of previous year effort from EA. It's still the best hockey simulation around.
