Modest but effective terror adventures that follow the path seen on P.T., but manages to entertain through its way.

Objectively, Obscuritas is far from being a great graphic adventure, but the setting and the mood covers many of its weaknesses to make it really enjoyable.

Obscuritas' atmosphere's good and the game runs better than Pineview Drive, even though it would've gained more from a better graphical optimization. Heavy backtracking and strange gameplay choices are its most back-settling features, barely bearable.

Obscuritas is a game that makes you think in the beginning that it hasn’t anything to show you, but in the end you will enjoy its puzzles and riddles. It’s true that the horror in the game won’t cause you something more than little shocks but it is rather the very sense of this experience that makes this game good in this genre. The downsides of Obscuritas are the bad performance on PC and some aspects that affect the gameplay, but we know that you will enjoy it even for a short period of time.

Obscuritas is a mediocre horror adventure. The story is weak, and the impressive amount of backtracking is frustrating. Technically speaking, the game doesn't stand a chance against other eminent competitors (like Outlast and SOMA). The game is not a complete failure, however: it has a good variety of puzzles and a perceptible tension.

In a genre which provides some incredible experiences, Obscuritas doesn’t stand out on every level. The Vis Games’ has some interesting ideas but is an extremely average horror-adventure and is plagued by a frustrating save system which ruins several puzzles and parts of the game.

An horror adventure dull, boring, and technically modest. It manages to create a bit of suspense, but the gameplay is too repetitive to really captivate the player.
