Oceanhorn might be a flawed, blatant rip-off of Zelda, but it’s worth playing — especially for the originality it does introduce.

Oceanhorn is a stunningly beautiful action-adventure game that borrows some of its best ideas from Nintendo's Zelda series. However, it's so well executed that we didn't mind the homage.

Although the first step in Oceanhorn is steeped in Zelda nostalgia, every step after leads farther into a world that stands on its own two feet.

If there is only one game you buy all year than Oceanhorn should be it, especially if you love those classic Nintendo adventure games.

Even if you only get up to three iOS games a year, make sure this is one of them. There are hours upon hours of content to play, plenty of islands to explore and monsters to fight.
