If you are a fan of One Piece, or a fan of Dynasty Warriors, you owe it to yourself to play this game. If you’re not a fan, play it anyway.

I can happily say that even if you aren’t a fan of the series you will enjoy this game -- granted you enjoy Dynasty Warriors-style beat 'em ups.

Here's the thing, though: as insular as One Piece 2 might be, it's also absurdly fun.

Well worth its weight in gold, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 continues the recent trend of great Warriors titles.

A hack´n slash adventure based on the popular Eiichirö Oda manganime franchise and produced by Omega Force, the makers of other similar games such Samurai / Dynasty Warriors. Not very innovative but still fun to play, especially with other players.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 improves the great first episode. The 60 fps and a more Dynasty Warriors oriented gameplay are enough to let the people enjoy this game. But if you hate the musou genre, you'll find Pirate Warriors 2 too boring for your standards.

Pirate Warriors 2 goes a step beyond in its search for action, and it manages to get it right. Unless musou games put you off, this is a great choice for One Piece fans.

One Piece Pirate Warriors 2 is a thoroughly enjoyable game that works best in medium doses. The game is oozing with One Piece references that I'm sure fans will get a huge kick out. Even if you are not familiar with the series, the game is still extremely accessible. In terms of combat, it's probably one of the most enjoyable games I've played all year as I play pirate superhero and knock my enemies into the air.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 is an excellent take on the Dynasty Warriors formula, and easily the best One Piece game so far.

Pirate Warriors 2 may be a mixed bag for some. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the game, and I can see how the removal of some of the uniqueness can put players of the original off, but in the end, it is a very fun Musou experience.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 is not just an opportunity to continue to spend time with the Straw Hat Pirates, is probably one of the best games inspired in the manga, and probably one of the best Musougames that Tecmo ever made.

An improvement over the original, with a refined combat and some welcome changes, but the formula need bigger changes to make better use of the One Piece universe.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 is a fun game that slowly loses its luster as the time in-game passes.

If you have ever played a Dynasty Warriors game, you know what to expect from Pirate Warriors 2. You start out with Luffy, but as you battle your way through hordes of enemies, you will unlock up to 26 more fighters.

Next time I see that Omega Force logo I might just get excited instead of nauseous.

A nice fighting game in the vein of the Dynasty Warriors saga, Pirate Warriors 2 is great for fans of the manga, but also has something else to appeal to the rest of us.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 builds on the qualities of the first episode and removes its flaws to finally offer a massive and frenetic Dynasty Warrior's-like beat'em all... A genre that has its limits, but fans of the One Piece series will be delighted to find a new original story, 36 playable characters and many things to unlock.

One Piece Pirate Warriors 2 removes all quick time events and platform sections of the first episode to offer a more Dynasty Warriors oriented game. It’s a good game if you’re One Piece fans, but it shows all the limits of the musou genre.

Pirate Warriors 2 is a step backward in terms of gameplay mechanics and storytelling, but its amount of contents and replayability grants its existence.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 takes the foundations that were built by the original Pirate Warriors, strips away the gameplay that it wasn’t confident about and sticks with what Warriors games know best – frantic action against waves upon waves of enemies while looking stylishly true to source material to please fans of the show.
