Worthy of a Class-A Hero! One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is a solid fighting game experience wrapped in nostalgia and callbacks to the animated source material. Fans of the anime will love to be able to play as their favorite characters and add their own flair to this over the top world of heroes and monsters. Despite some drawbacks the game is a fun way to immerse yourself in the world of One Punch Man and feel like a true Hero.

An amusing and charming fighter RPG with some very unique elements. If you are able to overlook some of the combat's shortcomings, getting to play as Saitama will make it all worthwhile.

As a fan of the world of One Punch Man, I really couldn’t ask for anything more. You build a hero from the ground up, utilizing a massive amount of unlockable content to shape and mold your character how you see fit. Want an enormous cardboard box on your head? Maybe you’d prefer to wear multiple pairs of sunglasses on your thighs? Or how about two Saitama masks covering both butt cheeks? All of this, and so much more, is at your fingertips, and at the end of the day, that sort of zaniness is what makes One Punch Man. The fighting itself is nothing to write home about – I guarantee you’ve played a better fighter. But if the simplicity doesn’t turn you off, and you enjoy the source material, OPM can be great.

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is a fun arena fighter that lacks the punch it needed, with a clunky movement system and repetitive mission types.

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is a game aimed primarily at Saitama fans with a nice progression system and lots of content. Unfortunately, not all of them are well made, the gameplay can become monotonous and the fights weighed down by various structural defects.

Look, I'm going to be honest with you, despite its flaws I still really like One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, it's just so far removed from what it feels like it could have been. There's a vast gulf between the unique ideas that make this feel special and the basic gaming stuff that it doesn't quite get right. It's a real shame because this could have been one of the best anime games to date.

A Hero Nobody Knows isn’t your average blockbuster title, but it’s fun to play. It also has some ridiculously funny moments, from depressed Saitama to Flirty monsters it captures the true One Punch Man essence, which I enjoyed seeing. It’s just too bad the game isn’t as polished as I expected it to be as if given more time to rid of all these small inconsistencies it had, the game would be an even more fun experience. Nevertheless, for all fans of One Punch Man, I genuinely recommend this. Well, it does help that this is the best one in the market so far.

One Punch Man has made a successful transition to the gaming-world. The satirical approach to superhero Manga is conserved, while many of the recognizable heroes and villains make an appearance. Fights are diverse and mostly work pretty well. Recovery from getting hit doesn't always work well. The invincible Saitama has been incorporated into the gameplay in a unique way, that work really well. The mandatory side quests to progress the story can become a drag.

This fighting game is ideal for fans of the franchise that just want to have a good time, without being too technical or competitive. It has some good ideas, but not much depth.

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is a game with good ideas that unfortunately fails to capture the essence of the original anime with its monotonous gameplay and concepts executed in a way that leaves much to be desired.

It's more charitable to see One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows as more of a Hero Association RPG than a fully qualified fighting game. You won't be seeing it on the main stage at EVO anytime soon, but you can at least have a fun few hours raising your own hero.

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows it's basically Jump Force with Saitama and his friends and enemies.

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is an action based on the famous anime and manga; unfortunately the Spike Chunsoft's game has more flaws than good points.

The result is a three-dimensional fighting game with a role playing tip and a powerful sense of progression, but the product fails to express its value due to some too much naivety.

In One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, becoming a hero for fun isn't all it's cracked up to be. Saitama is a hilariously game breaking gimmick that pays off in single-player, but online he only leads to frustration. Elsewhere, the main story mode has plenty to do, but there's not much variety. Fans will mostly enjoy the writing and the fighting, but newcomers might be left wanting.

If you are a fan of One Punch Man you’ll probably get a kick out of A Hero Nobody Knows but don’t expect it to keep you playing long. For every minute of brilliance there is an hour of grinding to go along with it, and that’s trying even for the most dedicated fans of the Caped Baldy.

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is more ambitious than it needed to be, to its own detriment. While the main missions and combat are very enjoyable, forced, lacklustre side content spoils the pacing and makes the game tedious to play. Still very fun for the right fan, but not without a sale.

The developers of One-Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows did a valiant job of translating the franchise into a video game, but the final product just isn't fun.

Not a bad game. It clearly has ideas it wants to bring to the table, and with some patience, players can find those ideas and have a blast seeing how they can be applied to a fighter. Overall though, its flaws make it hard for those ideas to shine, and hold the game back from being anything other than an offering for die-hard “One Punch Man” fans to dig their teeth into.

A good combat system alone is not enough to make One-Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows a real hit.
