Peggle is a drug. But a good one. And with no special "after effects."

It is a game that requires you to think, use different angles and timing to complete the game. It is a game that makes you sit back and rethink those strategies. But most importantly, it is a game that is extremely fun and addictive.

Simply put, this is a once-in-a-generation puzzler, much like Tetris. It’s Xbox Live Arcade’s finest offering, and it can be both mindless and high-level strategic fun. Don’t miss it. Find an internet connection and create an Xbox Live Silver account if you have to; it’s that sublime.

Peggle is without a doubt my favourite title on the Xbox LIVE Arcade. From the addictive gameplay to the many challenges on offer, and with more promise, this game is a must for any Xbox 360 owner and at 800 Microsoft Points, there really is no excuse.

There are many reasons why Peggle is a must own but the best has to be the sheer number of hours you will put in playing this. PopCap knows how to make some insane crazy addicting games and to be sure this is their best.

While I was hoping the 360 version would add something entirely new (not counting the Peg Party), I highly recommend Peggle. It’s a casual game that appeals to everyone. For only 800 Microsoft points ($10 USD), you will definitely get your money’s worth.

The game is incredibly colorful with a great mix of animation and sound to satisfy players of all ages—it’s not dumbed down for kids and it’s not loaded up with sophisticated gameplay concepts that only adults can take in. Most of all, though, it’s the combination of simple gameplay, challenging action and cartoon-like graphics that makes it highly appealing.

Peggle is one of the most fun and addictive titles to hit XBLA in a while. Well worth the 800 MS points it will cost you.

While it's a shame that the Xbox 360 experience doesn't do more to move the established template forwards on the multiplayer front, it would also be fairly nit-picky to allow such concerns to detract from the fact that Peggle was, and still is, a wonderful, maddeningly moreish gem of fuss-free game design. Every home should have one.

Quite simply put, this is probably the best way to spend 800 points on the Marketplace so far this year, and a game that offers a great deal of simple harmless gameplay with an addictive bite that’ll see you neglecting other more deep and meaningful gaming experiences for a bit of guilty casual gaming pleasure.

Peggle is a game that everyone should play, even if you've already done so on multiple other platforms.

Peggle is unique among puzzle games though, in that despite never being particularly challenging, it’s still great fun to play and is the very definition of that ‘just one more go’ feeling that some games evoke. A very pure, fun experience that appeals to gamers of all ages, and a great example of simple, but effective, gameplay. Top draw.

Peggle definitely makes the transition over to Xbox Live Arcade very well with the main game’s set of modes and two new multiplayer modes that makes it an easy 800 points, or $10, purchase if you enjoy the demo.

Peggle is a rare, but clear example of a game that utilises a simple concept to create a limitlessly satisfying gameplay experience. There are no end of level bosses, ostentatious cut scenes or superfluous button layouts to memorise, Peggle is simply gameplay refined.

Overall, the Xbox 360 edition of Peggle has turned out to be the most feature-packed version of the game yet.

Peggle is a colourful, highly addictive puzzle style game that the whole family will absolutely love. The online multiplayer modes make it that much better, and it's a worthy investment for anyone who wants something a bit simpler to wind down with.

The deliciously addicting game shines on XBLA for a meager 800 Microsoft points. The little touches -- the loading bar phrases and the visuals -- lend credence to Peggle’s relevance on Microsoft’s downloadable service.

Its simple aim-and-shoot mechanics draws you in for repeated plays and with the short completion times needed to complete levels, you can easily fall prey to ‘Just One More’ Syndrome.

No matter what the reason is, Peggle is absolutely worth the $10 price tag.
