It's one hell of a good time.

If you're looking for a mech title that isn't quite like most others out there - or just a fun action title, perhaps - do not pass this up.

Ruthlessly hunting down other mechs in Stealth mode becomes the favored approach in the heat of battle, and makes for amazingly fun, intense gameplay.

It's easily worthy of a spot alongside the best giant-robot games ever.

One very addictive and most enjoyable game to play for both the battles and the huge number of possibilities for your mechs.

PhC really grows on you, the level of customisation really shines through and gives this game a level of replaybility that’s rarely seen.

The fighting part of the game itself is good and quite fun to do, as it’s not to difficult to learn how to play, but will take a while before you’re up and fighting with the area rankers.

With a slick visual style and fast-paced, finger-banging combat, it’s an impressive display of power and polish.

When you get down to the nitty gritty it seems that the chit-chat is what makes the game and the whole “mech aspect” was more of an afterthought.

Offers a nice range of accessible and hardcore mech battling but comes up a notch below what we were expecting.

The game could've benefited from a greater number of arenas, a more diverse variety of scoobees, and more gameplay modes.

It's a cool idea and it looks fantastic, but it's just not that much fun to play.

If you're looking for solid, addictive gameplay, lots of customizing, good graphics and interesting audio, this underdog might surprise you.

Phantom Crash isn't a game you can simply pick up and play, but for mech fans and those gamers always up for a singular adventure and a time consuming (but fun) weirdness - this is definitely your ticket.

The combat in Phantom Crash is mostly excellent.

Aggressive, forward thinking and fun, but repetition soon dulls those virtues.

As engaging as the game can be, the action has a tendency to seemingly last forever at times, forcing you retire early just for the sake of a breather.

A great fast paced mech game for *one person*. *sigh*

It features some nicely executed gameplay concepts, but all this is too shallow and repetitive to warrant a higher score.

Although the Japanese influenced gameplay is engaging at first, countless deathmatch battles and only three arenas hurt the overall appeal.
