Obsidian Entertainment have managed to have the ante upped, and I feel the entire story told throughout Parts One and Two place The White March on a higher pedestal than most expansions, especially these days. This DLC is more than worth the asking price.

In addition to concluding the White March storyline in a suitably epic fashion, Part 2 also marks the ending of the first leg of the beautiful journey we undertook back in September 2012 when the Pillars of Eternity Kickstarter campaign was launched. Here’s to hoping that the journey continues soon with Pillars of Eternity 2.

The original Pillars of Eternity earned much deserved high praise when it was released. The White March – Part II keeps those elements that made the game such a success, but also tweaks some of the areas needing improvement.

This second part is far better than the first: the focus is back on storytelling, and gameplay is fine as well.

The improvements and the conclusion of the White March expansion are so impressive that the realization we have to wait and pray for PoE2 is depressing.

Pillars of Eternity: The White March - Part 2 takes gamers back to the snowy mountains of Eora, giving them a chance to revisit the mechanics of the party based RPG experience while introducing a story that's more engaging that the one in the first part and has higher stakes for the entire universe.

Offers more of what worked well in Pillars and provides a satisfying ending to the adventure.

Hats off to Obsidian Entertainment for creating and curating a fantasy world I can care about again, and here’s hoping for many more adventures in the future.

The White March Part 2 brings this multi-part expansion to a satisfying, and typically well-constructed, conclusion; solidifying Pillars of Eternity as one of the best CRPG titles of recent years.

The White March's second half salvages the slow pacing of the first and ultimately redeems Pillars of Eternity's expansion.

Pillars of Eternity: The White March Part 2 offers a focused, fast-paced endcap to the Watcher's tale, answering all of the lingering questions from Part 1, and then some. The encounter design brings some ongoing problems with Pillars combat to the forefront in several areas, but the overall experience is balanced out by high quality storycraft, interesting new locales, and momentous, world-shaping decisions available to the player.

The White March - Part 2 has epic battles and a great storyline, just like Pillars of Eternity.

Although short, Pillars of Eternity: The White March: Part 2 is far more entertaining than the expansion's first half.

Compared to the first part this DLC is an overall improvement. You will always find some mistakes, but this time you will gladly overlook them.

Splitting White March, the Pillars of Eternity expansion, into two parts was a mistake. The game still shines on the story side but diversity of maps and gameplay balance (experienced characters are too strong) suffers a bit. Still, this expansion quenched my thirst for an adventure but as a big fan of Obsidian's game I'd like to hear about the development of Pillars of Eternity II.

Still plenty of fighting, but second part of The White March expansion also offers more interesting story - successfully raising it above the first episode.

The first part of White March was better but it is an excellent DLC as a whole. Next time fewer fights and more companion quests, please.
