Even if you have already played and/or purchased the Williams Collection that was offered last year on the Wii and PS2, you would be crazy not to grab this edition as not only are the visuals and sound a major step up, but you receive two addicting machines in No Good Gophers and Medieval Madness that are must have for any pinball fan.

The tables are near perfect re-creations of the Williams originals—not only in look and feel, but in how they play. I was stunned at the quality and entertainment value.

Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection is a must-have for any fans of pinball, and well worth checking out by anybody who is just looking for a fun game that offers something different from the run of the mill shooters, RPGs, and action titles that dominate the holiday release schedule.

If you want your pinball to be an imaginary take on the late pinball scene, then Pinball FX is perfect. If you want an extensive history lesson on real pinball machines by one of the more respected manufacturers out there, then Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection needs to be in your collection.

This really is the best version of virtual pinball currently available on the market. With its spot-on controls and gameplay, authentic-looking and sounding tables, HD visuals, online leaderboards, and sheer variety of tables to choose from, TWC is the quintessential game for any pinball fan.

The Williams Collection works as a digital museum to preserve these games for future generations, but also reminds today’s gamers of just how much fun it can be to bounce a metal ball around inside a flashing, chiming cabinet. It’s an excellent collection of some amazing games from an era of electronic entertainment long since past.

This is easily some of the best pinball you're going to get in videogame form, and with so many machines out in the wild, hopefully this is just the start of things to come for the Pinball Hall of Fame series.

Surely, if you already have a version of the game, two or three new boards won’t sway you into a re-purchase, but this is the definitive classic pinball sim on consoles.

You don't need me to tell you that digital pinball isn't for everyone. And Pinball Hall of Fame isn't a perfect re-creation of the original tables. But if you're already into playing pinball on a TV, the variety of tables and the bargain price makes Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection a solid addition to your library.

For anyone who purchased the game last generation, the hi-def version is definitely worth the worth the price of admission for Medieval Madness alone.

Most of its success relies on the existing design of the pinball machines instead of any design elements it adds, but it doesn’t really need to do more than let the machines speak for themselves.

Fans of the silver balled game should definitely check out this collection because its one of the best, well-rounded pinball games ever made.

However, the game is enjoyable overall, though really only a ‘must have’ for those who can score a million points with their eyes closed and one hand tied behind their back.
