Pocketbike Racer is in no way the next coming of kart racers, but as a wallet-friendly arcade game it more than serves its role as an amusing piece of gaming software for the casual audience.

The stop-and-go action, the occasional jumps, and the sheer ridiculousness of what you're taking part in lends every race a manic aspect that elicits more giggles than groans.

While the online play is a mess, the offline content is definitely worth a run-through, as well as the $3.99 price tag.

This game is a great value and can be a lot of fun-- online or at home. It's hard to mess up this genre as long as the controls are decent-- which they are.

It gets stale fairly quickly, but Pocketbike Racer does very well for what it is.

Despite the limited number of tracks, the combination of different game modes and difficulty ratings make PocketBike Racer entertaining when it's taken for what it is - an unashamed Mario Kart clone intended to advertise Burger King.

The online mode in PocketBike Racer is fantastic...when it works. If you can get through random crashes and dropped games, the title has a nice, robust, eight-player online mode.

Pocketbike Racer is a bad kart-racing game that's often broken.

Unfortunately, once you remove the lovable Nintendo characters from the formula and replace them with soulless agents of advertising, you've lost most of the appeal. You're left with a slightly disturbing and shameful mockery of what was once a cherished wholesome media icon; sort of like Michael Jackson.

The game is just so generic and doesn't even manage to use the Burger King license to its utmost to get some humor in there. Unless you have to have all three Burger King games, you can skip out on this one.

Pocketbike Racing is a failed racing game that could have been a good one. If missed potential is worth $4 to you, by all means go for it.

Battle royale effectively spruces up an otherwise dull game, but even this mode isn’t an ultimate savior.
