If you have more than one friend or family member to play Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 with then there are few excuses not to own it.

Hugely entertaining.

The graphics are cheery and hilarious, with the Rabbids stealing the show from Rayman. The Wi-Fi Connection function is a nice touch, though it lacks online multiplayer. Invite these Rabbids to your next holiday party.

Easily one of the best minigame compilations on Wii. There's lot of fun to be had here.

An amusing and little bit different minigamecollection. Gather some friends to play, though - it will be that much more fun. The shooting games are a nice addition for loners.

Several dozen unlockable outfits can be mixed and matched at your leisure to create the silliest looking avatar imaginable, and the longer arcade shooters from the first game return as brief alternatives to the more frantic minigames.

If you're the sort who prefers single-player adventures though, this isn't the game for you.

Rabbids provide multiplayer lunacy and joy in a minigame collection that's one of the nicest on Wii at the moment.

Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 does have some great attributes to it, but the hit and miss mini-games and the somewhat lackluster single player experience hamper the overall score.

While I commend the developers at Ubisoft for trying to do new and original things in this sequel - one that comes only a year after its predecessor - it seems that the Rayman Raving Rabbids idea just isn't quite good enough for a real franchise.

A sequel that's good but not great. It's got mini-games that will hook you immediately, a stronger emphasis on group play, and some genuinely hilarious moments. It's also got some bad mini-game mechanics that are recycled throughout the experience that drag it down.

As funny and clever as the festivities can be, they don't always equate to fun gameplay.

This follow-up collection of minigames isn't nearly as captivating or humorous as its predecessor, but it still has its moments.

If you intend to play with friends and family, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 is a great title to add to your collection. If you intend to go solo, then the experience isn’t so great.

Despite numerous faults, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 is a decent sequel to a fabulous game by Ubisoft.

While Ubisoft has added 50 new minis and colored the experience with unlockable costumes and Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection support (for high score tracking), the core games are less enjoyable than those in the first, which is very disappointing.

Rent it, play it with your friends, and see what you think. I'm not saying you can't have fun with Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 if you're in good company, but you'll probably agree with me in that the mini-games are a little weak.

Ultimately, what we have here is collection of mini games that range from the dull to the sublime with unfortunately slightly more emphasis on the former.

All the games, even the good ones, outlast their welcome.

RRR2 has taken all the charm and thoughtful originality of the first game and reduced it to a catatonically simple formula that even the most ardent fan will find hard to enjoy for longer than a few hours.
