There really isn’t much bad to say about Ridge Racer Slipstream, and it stands to reason, as Namco Bandai have been producing installments for almost every platform imaginable for so long, they seem to more or less have it down to a science.

An almost perfect distillation of the last great console Ridge Racer with spot-on handling and a stunning engine. Ridge Racer Slipstream is arguably the best arcade racer on iOS.

Ridge Racer Slipstream delivers the unique and thrilling flavor of the well-known arcade racing series without messing up the controls, but it relies too heavily on its console predecessors for inspiration.

This is a good, well-made Ridge Racer game for your mobile device

While the Ridge Racer series has been rather hit and miss in its last few iterations, Ridge Racer Slipstream feels like a return to form for fans of Namco's careening cars.

Ridge Racer Slipstream is a very well done interpretation of the original Ridge Racer, thanks to some accurate controls, nice graphics and rich game modes.

The only other negatives i can point out are that you might grow bored of it after playing for too long, so keep in mind that Ridge Racer Slipstream, like the use of nitrous, is best enjoyed in short bursts.

A great new entry for the classic arcade driving series destined exclusively for iOS format.

Ridge Racer Slipstream is flat in a few areas, particularly with the strenuous earning system and the lack of online multiplayer. However, if you're a fan of the series or looking for an ideal racer for the holidays, this one will rev your engine.

It's not particularly ceremonious, but for a few bucks, it gets the job done for hardcore fans who happen to own a device capable of running it.

Oddities with drift handling aside, this is as classic as arcade racers get, and for track-based thrills and spills, you could do a lot worse.

Microtransactions rear their ugly head once again, but they’re not enough to take the shine off one of the best portable Ridge Racers so far.

This app stays true to Ridge Racer’s arcade roots, but the lack of content coupled with the grind of unlocking everything—which is only conveniently alleviated by microtransacations—is a major speed bump in this otherwise smooth ride.

Ridge Racer Slipstream is the new car game developed by Namco Bandai for mobile device. The graphic of the app is good, but it has several problems: the number of the cars and the track isn't high and there are several technical defects in the game. The app is not free, but has the in-app purchases anyway.
