That said, if you can ignore the missions and just find fun in the gameplay, Run Sackboy! Run! offers a tremendously good time for gamers in search of a new endless runner to add to their collection.

There’s too much LittleBigPlanet fan service and too little gameplay in this endless runner, but despite this it’s still able to entertain for a few runs.

Like most endless runners, your mileage will vary with Run Sackboy! Run! which, while impressively handsome, is a surprisingly limited example of its genre.

If you're a LittleBigPlanet fan, there's plenty to attract you to Run Sackboy! Run, but it's nothing that's going to end up breaking the mold, unfortunately. It's a little disappointing, but it's serviceable. In the end, you'll probably end up missing the diversity of the regular LittleBigPlanet games.

Run Sackboy! Run! is a simple but dull 2D endless runner, featuring many of LittleBigPlanet's assets.

Run Sackboy! Run! looks great, but is otherwise by the book development that does little to make you interested in playing, making it one to skip despite the name recognition.
