With more shortcuts and goodies than you can shake a futuristic stick at, this game's got what it takes to leave the competition in the dust.

The new "wing" feature allows you to fly through the streets of San Francisco with added control along with the ability to create new stunts and tricks.

Arcade racing fans will be drooling over this game for a long, long time.

If anything, the Dreamcast version just looks outstanding.

Its solid visuals, imaginative tracks, tight control, and over-the-top physics model make it a winner in the arcade racing genre.

You're going to have to stick with the game for a while if you hope to unlock everything it has to offer, but I sincerely doubt that, that will be a problem as each mode is as fun and engaging as it is unique.

It came as quite a surprise to me when Rush 2049 was not only a blast to play, but offered up an impressive amount of replay value as well.

If you're looking for a simulation, this ain't it. But then, that's hardly the point.

Much more than a straight forward port of the decent arcade driving game, Rush 2049 on the home consoles packs in vehicular combat and insane stunt driving for a pleasing combination of addictive gameplay formulas.
