A visual feast with each car modeled with incredible care. Everything from the texture work right down to the tiny car logos on the hoods is impeccable.

Easily the best racer of this year, Sega GT 2002 has also become a serious competitor to reigning king "Gran Turismo 3."

At early levels, SGT is more accessible than "GT3" and is almost always a joy to play.

From start to finish, it's a class act, and one that you'll obsess over for months to come.

Excellent AI, controls and sound design combine their respective strengths to make a package that's stronger than the sum of its parts.

There are just enough extras and different modes to really make this game a must-have.

The biggest criticisms I have for this game are the limited number of tracks and the huge amount of time it takes to get cool stuff.

"Rallisport Challenge" is much more specialized, and, arguably, better executed, but Sega GT 2002's experience is much more comprehensive.

It borrows from the best of Sony's series, but its own unique GT mode, aggressive A.I. and simplified upgrade system make SGT feel like a very different game.

I consider this title a pretty good Sega rendition of "Gran Turismo 3."

Although the handling is solid, and the visuals sport some cool effects, the inclusion of only 12 tracks does serious damage to the lasting appeal.

GT 2002's only real issue is a relative lack of racetracks, but the game has enough depth to overcome that problem.

An extremely well-designed, very playable game with a fair learning curve and gorgeous visuals. Well done.

Has the cars, moments of originality and the track designs to threaten even the mighty Project Gotham Racing and if the graphics were a little more impressive it may just have pipped it.

The game has great features, just not enough of them to compete with the likes of Gran Turismo. Had SegaGT 2002 had more cars and a lot more tracks we might be singing a different tune.

The game features quality graphics, sound, controls, and options but doesn't really sign above the competition in any of the aforementioned categories.

It's not quite as big as "GT3" in terms of races and events, but there's still plenty of gameplay, and expansion disks and online capability on the horizon.

Whatever you make of Setga GT's game structure, there is little you can say about the game's graphics other than "awesome."

Were it not for the lack of Xbox Live support, the somewhat tedious pace of the Career mode..., Sega GT would be nothing less than a "Gran Turismo" killer.
