Sega GT is a nearly perfect racing simulation that offers hundreds of cars, dozens of options and weeks of deep gameplay.

It's an incredibly deep, engaging game that will make arcade-lovers and simmers alike join hands and sing.

Abundant with options, cars, and a ton of racing modes, GT is easily the most realistic game of its type on the Dreamcast.

One of the better driving/sims on the market, and could even give the heralded "GT2000" a run for it's money.

It may be a "Gran Turismo" clone, but it's still as stunning and immersive a driving experience as you're ever going to find on the Dreamcast

One of the greatest racing games to come out in a long time, stacking up and in some areas surpassing even "Gran Turismo."

While Sega GT's daunting learning curve and super-realistic handling may not be everyone's cup of tea, the game managed to grow on me after extended playing.

Two areas where Sega's game SLAUGHTERS Sony's ("Gran Turismo 2") -- depth and graphics.

Obtaining the various drivers licenses alone requires near perfect driving skills, and you'll need to be able to drive these courses with your eyes closed if you hope to win the races.

The graphics and depth are sure to please even the most critical racing fan.

I definitely recommend renting Sega GT if you're not into constructing cars, making money, and just want to race against a Mazda RX-7 or a Dodge Viper.

What sets the game apart from its rival is the obvious better graphics.

Addictive. I've had this game in my possession for a little over a week now, and have logged over 30+ hours into it.

Sega GT is heavy on the racing and tuning options and will make any avid racing fan smile with glee.

It's not a perfect simulation of driving in the same way Sega's own "Ferrari F355 Challenge" is, but it's close -- and with a lot more cars and races to choose from.

So even though the controls are shoddy and the physics aren't realistic, those things don't detract from the overall enjoyment of the game.

"Gran Turismo" is still king of the realistic console driving genre, but certain aspects of Sega GT (like the analog control for breaking/accelerating and the 'Carrozzeria' option) surpass it and point brightly toward the genre's future.

If you want a simple pick-up-and-play racer keep looking. If you know a bit about cars and want a game to spend some serious time on, then look no further than Sega GT.

Although Sega GT does indeed look awesome -- better than any PlayStation game could possibly look -- it's nowhere near pushing the envelope of the hardware capabilities the way "Gran Turismo" does on the PSX.
