Overall, I’d say the game has a lot of promise; It just needs a little bit of paint and some tinkering under the hood.

Serum could make a mark as a horror survival game with more time to polish mechanics.

It’s a decent enough game now, and provided its developers see it through to a full release, it seems reasonable to believe that it’ll continue to improve.
