Shattered Heaven is a card-based role-playing game with a relevant narrative component that is interesting throughout the adventure, with even the possibility of making certain choices to change events. Also, do not be fooled by the "roguelike" categorization because it is only a tiny sliver of the experience. In terms of gameplay, battles are the focus of the game and the approach is nicely tactical, supported by various unique mechanics of the heroes and even the bosses.

A card game where tactics and storytelling mix well, for a challenging and captivating experience.

Rich in lore and full of interesting characters, the world of Shattered Heaven pushes the player to explore it, net of an overwhelming amount of information at times, which is a bit heavy especially in the second part of the adventure. The excellent artistic direction and the multifaceted combat system, thanks to the guessed card game structure, manage to keep the pleasantness of the experience high, net of some balancing problems, clearly evident especially during the boss fights. In any case, the title developed by Leonardo Production offers an interesting mix of playful elements, which fans of role-playing adventures with cards in hand should not underestimate.

Shattered Heaven captivates the players thanks to its hybrid gameplay. It's a card game with roguelike and rpg elements that are enough to feel interesting, but it gets repetitive way too soon during longest playing sessions.
