A masterpiece. This is the way every software house should think and build a graphic "point & click" adventure game.

Silence offers a captivating mix of innocent delight layered over an undercurrent of wistful sadness, wrapped up in lovely art and music. The story could have done with a bit more flesh on its bones, but it’s filled with nuance and heart.

The company did a wonderful job incorporating design, characters, plots, and adventure into a well-designed adventure game that is leagues beyond its genre.

Silence sets new standards for the genre, simply looks fantastic and just kept us going - at least for five hours.

Silence is a beautiful game that combines emotional themes with breath-taking art and music. It works fantastically as a cinematic experience and takes its players on a concise yet fun adventure, integrating puzzles along the way. Daedelic have done an excellent job exploring the space between life and death, touching on dark and abstract feelings in a delicate and thoughtful way.

Silence is an great game with a very mature story, amazing art and beautifully executed. We don't mind waiting for another five years if the team manages to make another game like this.

While The Whispered World, the successful predecessor to Silence, was a classic 2D-point-and-click-adventure, the developers now are heading into a more modern way of adventure-storytelling. This ends up in a most beautiful designed world with 3D-modelled characters. Using a brilliant way of camera-zooms and –angles, the presentation is a great cinematic-experience. The gameplay itself is focused on an emotional story and filled with more casual puzzles and dialogues than before. We’ve missed some more challenging riddles and more story-depth concerning the side-characters. Depending on how many in-game tips you’re using, Silence took you just about 5 up to 7 hours to complete.

A very entertaining and charming fantasy adventure with nicely constructed puzzles. It lacks the punch of the predecessor, though.

A bite-sized portion of melancholia topped with just enough sweetness to make the journey easier to swallow. It’s a cascade of metaphor, both obvious and subtle, that can wind you unexpectedly even as you delight in its beauty.

Silence is a breathtakingly beautiful game. There are so many moments where I just stopped and stared at what was going on around me.

A delightful point'n click adventure with lots of deep characters and an interesting plot, decorated with an impressive artistic aspect. It may be too easy, but it's very enjoyable.

Silence is a great follow-up to the Sadwick's Chronicles: Whispered World with a great story and awesome visuals. The gameplay is quite simple with easy enigmas and a short lifespan, but those drawbacks are nothing in comparison with the game's qualities.

Silence is an enchanting tale that will make you cry and laugh with its excellent atmosphere, storyline and graphics. Even though everything looks and feels great, the difficulty level is very low and there are no demanding puzzles. You need to ask yourself what kind of gamer you are and what you find most important.

One does not enter a wonderland by good luck. Last time Noah came to Silentia, he was in deep coma. Now the journey will be triggered by a military-grade explosive. Fortunately, this wonderland is forgiving – it’ll be glad to see Sadwick back and it will welcome little Reny with open arms. But it doesn’t forget anything either – Noah destroyed it last time around, so now it’s time to face the consequences.

Silence is a good adventure Telltale-like game with a great story and less-good puzzles.

In order to get the most out of Silence, one must approach it as a narrative with light brain teasers that require patience. If that is in mind, then the time spent with this title is completely enjoyable.

It’s more than obvious that “Silence” is some kind of experiment from Daedalic Entertainment. It will most likely disappoint fans of traditional point ‘n’ click adventure games, but at the same time it may prove attractive to a wider, more casual and mainstream audience, like fans of Telltale Games’ creations.
