A game of high scores, precision and unlocking further stages to then score high on. It’s a game that flies in the face of new fads like stealth modes, world-building sims and realism in favour of old-skool thrills and kills.

Doesn’t necessarily revolutionize the gaming experience—the game does, however, offer a fine continuation to the already classic series.

Good, but a multiplayer mode would have been nice.

Fans of the series will love Silent Scope 3, though the game may be too difficult for everyone else.

You're basically getting two games in one here, and both are a lot of fun, not to mention loaded with replay value.

The plot and graphics are weak, and the gameplay, while fun for a little while, quickly becomes dull because of the absence of a sniper rifle-style light gun.

Even if you play through both titles multiple times to see all of the branching missions, you can still blow through it in a day or two.

The great physical satisfaction from the arcade game is lost without the honking-big sniper rifle.

Shame that the outdated graphics, effective-but-simplistic (i.e. recycled) sound effects and still-awkward Dual Shock 2 control relegate Silent Scope 3 to the realm of rental material.

The major fault of Silent Scope 3 is that it's more of the same, just memory and repetition.

A decent adaptation of the arcade series, and offers a sometimes enjoyable but extremely brief experience.

A cookie cutter light-gun game offering little to nothing more than the content of the first two games.
