Smuggler's Run 2 makes Smuggler's Run look like a tech demo. It's Angel Studios' best game so far.

It is really freaking hard. Holy hell.

A great action game – much better than the original.

They did a great job of setting the timer on some missions to the point where you will either succeed by a few seconds or lose by a few seconds.

It's a fun, wild romp-style action-racing game that's better than last year's version, it's just the concept itself is a little shallow.

For those who’ve got time and money to burn, running contraband across the imaginary border is a lot more entertaining--and much safer--than trying to sneak a pair of scissors through airport security.

I guess the biggest problem is that SMUGGLER’S RUN 2 is point-to-point racing.

A faster, sexier, more engaging, and more enjoyable game...essentially a better-looking and more fun version of the original.

A safe, but extremely fun sequel.

The game still continues to have a great sense of speed and the thrill for being chased.

It’s a looker that has enough length and new additions to justify a purchase but it misses out from being a top tier game since it’s gameplay is somewhat repetitive.

The game's engine, which seemed a marvel when the PS2 launched, still comes off as exceptional.

Smuggling drugs isn’t much fun when it involves swallowing condoms to sneak cocaine across the border, but it’s a blast when you drive all-terrain vehicles full of contraband right through police barricades.

A fun, solid game that's worth picking up...My one complaint is that the game only has two environments to drive through. As I said, they're huge, but the original had three, and the absence of one is noticeable.

The trouble is, the learning curve's more of a spike, so with no real variation in the gameplay, and an extremely rigid mission-structure, every few missions you'll get hopelessly, tooth-gnashingly stuck.

It's still a blast to recklessly hurtle over the countryside, avoiding psychotic police and enemy factions. However, after a few hours you'll grow tired of the simple gameplay dynamic.

Fans of the original will enjoy the game, but there is the danger that this Hostile Territory will seem more like Familiar Territory.

Music aside, SR2 made all the right tweaks to the original formula.

Like its predecessor, won't go down in history as any kind of a classic, but it does offer enough thrills and spills to keep most players interested through to the end.

Essentially, it’s the original Smuggler’s Run, but with video clips included.
