I have no hesitation in recommending this to any Sniper Elite fan… or really anyone who enjoys the sniping aspect of FPS games. To be honest… even if you don’t… you can technically play this as a run and gun as well… it may be more challenging but you’ve got your pistol and machine gun options… so tackle it how you want. There’s so much fun to be had here that I can really only scratch the surface. I will leave this by saying, find the highest point, check your surrounds with your binoculars and take aim for fun.

Sniper Elite 4 is the best sniping game I’ve ever played, and is absolutely the high point of the series. This is a perfect example of what can be achieved if a developer understands what their game’s potential is, and never stops working towards it. Rebellion has made huge leaps forward with every new entry in this series, and they’ve finally reached a point where the results are flat-out incredible. I can only imagine the great things they’ll accomplish in the future.

Sniper Elite 4 is a first-class game, troubled only by some minor flaws, such as an Artificial Intelligence not always up to the task. If you love the tactical stealth genre and the sniper rifles, you'll be more than pleased: the game offers an inspired level design with endless possibilities for every mission, and a high replayability value.

In a time where games rely on updates, patches, and DLC to become what the game should have been at launch, it was very refreshing to see Sniper Elite 4 release without any glaring weaknesses or issues. Overall, the game is well polished and simply fun to play, without sacrificing intricate details for the sake of simplicity. Lastly, the title also features an authentic, hardcore difficulty for “sniping purists and masochists” which is sure to add many hours to a title already with lots of potential for replayability. Sniper Elite 4 took a shooter niche, sniping, and built an excellent title and solid franchise around it.

If you prefer your shooters to be more methodical or enjoy taking out enemies with pinpoint accuracy rather than just blindly rushing into skirmishes, Sniper Elite 4 will delight your trigger finger. Whether you’re a long-time series fan or someone just who wants to test their sniping skills, Sniper Elite 4 hits its target.

Sniper Elite 4’s advancements make it the best entry in the franchise to date and a must-have for anyone with a penchant for stealth-based action.

Planned DLC releases with new weapons, similar to Sniper Elite III, are on the horizon, which makes Sniper Elite 4 one possibly best waiting a bit on to purchase. During that time, we’re sure to see patches and extra polish like practically any other game released in the last several years, and an Ultimate Edition seems quite likely. But whether you dive in now or later, expect another solid entry into Rebellion’s long-running, compelling and often thrilling series.

There may not be anything ground-breaking on offer with Sniper Elite 4, but that’s not to say this game isn’t worth your time. It builds on the previous games in a way that feels subtle and natural, and Rebellion’s experience with the franchise means that whether you have been with the series from day one, or are just discovering it for the first time, you will be in for one hell of a treat.

A lot of games tout the ability to “play how you want to play,” but Sniper Elite 4’s missions and mechanics actually are robust enough to back up that claim. Picking apart the Nazi war machine piece by piece, using whatever plan comes to mind, is a blast. The way it encourages you to stay mindful, experiment, and get better is a refreshing vote of confidence, even if it doesn’t always reward the extra effort you’re putting in.

Although Sniper Elite 4 has its flaws, it is easily the best titles in the series yet. Rebellion has gone out of its way to deliver an even better sniper experience and did an extraordinary job doing so.

Sniper Elite 4 is easily the best in the series so far. It’s still the same methodical stealth game at its core, but Rebellion have added to that with more possibilities for the player, bigger and more open maps, and a handful of new modes.

Sniper Elite 4 isn't without its flaws, but it delivers a number of noteworthy improvements over previous games in the series to make it an engrossing experience. The gruesome X-ray kill cams still haven't gotten old, and the more expansive and dense levels make the core gameplay all the more entertaining. It's definitely the best in the series yet, and is worth checking out for longtime fans and newcomers alike.

Rebellion brings Sniper Elite 4 to the italian shores with the well-known formula and some marginal improvements. The result is a well-crafted experience and the extra composed by the possibility to play co-op and versus with other players.

Sniper Elite 4 comes back to the top of the war stealth games. Great variety of possibilities and non-stop action with a very good recreation of Italy. Definitively, it is worth a try.
