I've already admitted I'm not the biggest Star Wars fan and I found Bounty Hunter dripping with entertainment value.

Although not one the best games of the year, it still has a number of redeeming qualities and if you’re a fan of either Star Wars or third person shooters, you won’t be disappointed.

Controlling and moving around is simple enough, but once you have to start doing several things at once it can get confusing and difficult.

The game is still incredibly fun too play though, and makes good use of its true 3D stature.

Despite all the things Jango can do, control is streamlined and intuitive... A rock-solid action title that should keep Fett fans very happy.

What’s the point of eliminating wave after wave of identical baddie if you can’t even buy anything worthwhile with the credits earned? My advice: keep your hard earned credits and use them to put a bounty on the head of the poor schlup that implemented the moronic money system.

The best part is to finally be able to control a cool villain outside of the confined restrictions of a shooter or fighting game.

Although it is hampered with framerate issues and a bit of a clumsy interface, the game delivers on mostly every other aspect.

If LucasArts can clean up that collision detection issue, it would be a near-perfect third person action engine for future releases.

Plagued with some serious frame-rate problems and some rather questionable control decisions by Lucas, it still comes out as a good game worth at least a weekend rental.

A painful save system demands countless restarts and all but assures general frustration. On the whole, Bounty Hunter establishes itself as a worthy, yet flawed offering.

It has strong characters and a story that's better plotted than the last movie, quite frankly. If only that camera was a little more tame.

It is also, bizarrely, needlessly fiddly to walk in a straight line. Its almost as if the game is expecting you to strafe as your viewpoint veers to the left and right, causing you to correct the movement on a constant basis.

Gripes aside, Bounty Hunter still brings plenty of clever puzzles and exploration elements to the table in conjunction with one of the best presentations around.
Armchair Empire

The game by itself, is sort of bland and unexciting because of the lack of variety.

Serves up some decent platforming elements, and blasting hordes of opposition is fun to a certain extent, but there are so many trifling aspects to the experience that you’ll probably want to give up before you have a chance to appreciate the game’s interesting storyline.

Unfortunately the execution is extremely poor and not at all what we could have hoped for, at the end of the day this is just another action title with a Star Wars license blasted across it.

A horrible camera often shakes uncontrollably like a drunken Corellian, and sloppy controls tend to make you feel just as uncoordinated.
