It's aimed towards a younger market, but the visuals are good, the controls are great and the game manages to elicit more endearment out of The Phantom Menace than a crate full of unwanted plush Jar Jar dolls.

Maintaining high standards of visual and technical expertise, while valiantly tackling the formidable task of creating a game to appeal to an almost impossibly wide audience, Lucas Learning has created a game that is worthy of praise.

It's great looking, amusing at times, and the Star Wars themes never gets old.

A must buy for any Star Wars fan or kart lover. For the rest of us it’s an excellent weekend rental.

This should keep you occupied long enough to appreciate the game, but not long enough to make you love it.

Older gamers will likely tire of this game in a hurry, although there may be those who enjoy it nonetheless. By and large, however, this is a game aimed at young children.

And if you still can't stand Jar-Jar, even in a game designed to suit him, you can always have fun dropping him in the Sarlacc a couple of hundred times.

The difficulty of the game is very easy; you'll make it through the entire game in no time. Some of the racing tracks are pretty short...But...a pleasant surprise.

Maybe my expectations were set so low that there was nowhere to go but up the scale, but I truly found myself enjoying the gameplay. It was a relief to play a Star Wars title that made fun of itself before I could.

It's cool to look at and has excellent sound, but it lacks fundamental gameplay elements that make kart racing the good time that it is.

Introduces a few clever concepts, but its length, with only nine playable courses, and the gameplay flaws such as the ineffective power-ups, loose controls, and the unnecessarily large multiplayer arenas significantly limit the game.

Not a perfect or original game mind you, just one that doesn't screw-up with its winning formula in any meaningful way.

The tracks have enough secrets to hold your attention for a while and the arenas, while too big for their own good, are still a blast, especially with friends.

Just another kart racer. It's really not interesting or fun enough to set itself apart from the million other kart racers on the market.
