Stardew Valley creator Eric Barone has revealed that he is 'trying' to score a Fortnite collaboration and knows exactly who he wants: Pelican Town’s middle-aged, smoky bus driver Pam
Stardew Valley creator Eric Barone revealed that he would like to create a crossover between Fortnite and Stardew Valley. He wants to move a few citizens from his sedate farming simulation into Epic's Omniverse and give them a combat shotgun, so they can go wild on other peoples' licensed trademarks.
YouTuber Panedwards asked Barone about his willingness to create a Stardew/Fortnite cross-over (via IGN). Barone replied, "I've tried to," who wants "Pam" in Fortnite but is "open" to doing a collaboration in general.
Pam is the character in the Stardew Yellow Pages who is a crusty old diner server, except for her actual job. She is the Pelican town bus driver and Penny’s mother. A salt-of-the earth working class person, she has seen it all. She could, if she had the chance, also split open Solid Snake's skull like a ripe melon at 400 meters with a reaper-sniper rifle.
It doesn't seem like Epic is on board with this idea yet. Barone says that it could be another character to make things easier. He wrote: "I'm open to anything." He has a few ideas: "Abigail & Sebastian might be good." Stardrop or Joja Cola item? Galaxy sword or slingshot?
But let's face it, we all want to see a Pam who is pumped up. Barone told IGN that he enjoys playing Fortnite alongside a few friends who help him with Stardew updates. "One time, we were playing Fortnite and someone asked 'what if Pam was in Fortnite? It became a meme, as we imagined ourselves all playing together in a squad wearing identical Pam skins.
"There's no official plans or anything like that. But yea, we would find it funny and fun if someday we could play as Pam (or really any other Stardew characters, in fact)." Sincerity, I think it's just a matter time. Epic can't afford to miss the opportunity of combining the fanbases for Fortnite and Stardew.
