Starfield modders have already traded in Bethesda’s new buggy, for Halo’s Warthog or Luke’s landspeeder

Bethesda gave Starfield fans what they've been asking for ever since the launch of the space RPG: a drivable vehicle. The Rev-8 is a new buggy that can be added as a vehicle module to your spaceship. It will appear right next you, wherever you land. Now you can drive.

Cool, thanks! Do you mind if modders change everything immediately?

You can probably guess which vehicle modders replaced the vanilla Starfield buggy with. It's the Warthog. It's the M12B (Force Application Vehicle), but although the mod is pretty cool, I notice that it lacks a way to apply force. Doesn't a Warthog usually have a gauss or bigass gauss gun mounted on it? Ah, well. It's a huge improvement over the Rev-8.

NotSiouxsie has created a few other vehicle mods. One of them is the Old Earth ATV mod, which makes it appear as if you are driving a shiny, blue Jeep with chunky, big tires on Starfield's worlds. Crimson Gang van is based on a 1992 Chevy Van. It may be cooler. You can also try out the Saints Row Stag N-Forcer, a vehicle that I am not familiar with but which looks cool.

This other mod, which I find more exciting, turns the Rev-8 into an X-34 Landspeeder. This is the old, clunky hovering car Luke Skywalker drove around Tatooine during the original Star Wars. Although I'm a little disappointed that the modder put Han Solo and Chewbacca up front instead of Luke and Ben Kenobi in the original Star Wars, it still looks cool and will go well with any Star Wars inspired ship builds you are playing with.

What? No Thomas the Tank Engine anymore? Well, not quite yet. He's not textured yet, but he is here. I'm certain someone will paint him soon.
