Summary
Born with the mark of the Summoner, Joseph possesses a power greater than emperors and gods. In spite of some graphic flaws due to a short production timetable, Summoner is one of the most satisfying-to-play RPGs on the PS2 launch list; in fact, only "Orphen" comes close.

While a bit short of greatness, Summoner is an admirable role-playing game experience that is more than one could have ever really hoped for in an RPG that's available at a new system's launch.
