I was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable it was, despite the simple and repetitive plot in its Story Mode. Although it can be hard to pick up, once you get the hang of it, it is a fun challenge. With hundreds of available characters, lots of missions to choose from, and endless possibilities, Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission offers a lot for one game, which I believe will please many Dragon Ball fans.

Super Dragon Ball Heroes has been a success in Japan for years and it's good that we have it now on Switch and PC in the same title. SDBH World Mission contains many hours of fun if you connect with its cards and you want a fan service.

Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission has all the strategy and complexity of a TCG beautifully mixed with the blood pumping tension of a fun multiplayer arcade game.

Its game system is tremendously complex but addictive, and we will have to find the best strategy to win in the next game. It is a pity that its soundtrack and its story subtract part of the rating of this installment of Dragon Ball.

It’s packed to the rafters with content, from a heavy-duty story mode to local and online battles, so if you’re a fan of the series you’re going to lap up this entry now it’s finally arrived in the West. While it lacks the deeper tactical nuance of Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Champions, it’s still a fun and unapologetically Japanese arcade experience right there on your Switch.

This is a card game aimed at Dragon Ball diehards, with enough depth, creativity and fan service to keep the fans entertained. It does suffer visually, and those not into the series may want to give this one a miss.
