As I said earlier, Arcade Edition is the finest outing of the series. Capcom have said that this third edition of the game is to be its final outing which, is both a relief and a shame.

If this is your first time considering a shot at Street Fighter, grab this as a $40 retail package, and if you have SSFIV lying around, I think the fifteen bucks to get online and get competitive again is a great idea too.

Ultimately, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition is a super-sized character expansion pack to an already impressive game. For 1,200 MSP ($15 USD), you're getting four new characters, a slew of balance changes and some tweaks to the online experience. It's not a revolution in play, but if you've already mastered Super Street Fighter IV, it does make the experience fresh again.

I'm glad Capcom released the Arcade Edition and gave buyers a choice to get it via DLC or the full retail release ($15, $40). For avid Street Fighters, this is a solid purchase, but everyone else can do just as well holding out for a price cut.

AE is fun, but just doesn't have a whole lot of staying power.

Explosive combos, moody settings, brutal fights.

Street Fighter IV's Arcade Edition refines and balances the formula from one of the best fighting games.

The changes in Super Street Fighter IV's Arcade Edition aren't extraordinary, but serve to further refine and balance one of the best fighting games in existence.

In its own right this is StreetFighter, which is a cracking game for casuals and at tournament level and will continue to be so for years to come.

While Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition is a complete and solid game, the types of updates and outright lack of change in the production (we couldn't even get a new theme song or stages?) might not make the casual fans impulsively buy this update. Even $15 is a bit steep for features you might not use, and the $40 retail disk isn't a terrific option when Super Street Fighter IV retails anywhere from $10 to $30, depending on where you're buying it from.

So Arcade Edition is exactly what it appears to be: a tempered update that lacks the immediate wow factor of its predecessor, but offers an extra layer of refinement on an already winning formula.

Here comes the definitive version of Street Fighter IV. The jump of Arcade Edition is not as big as the jump from the original version to Super, but it's still a great content to keep exploring the joys of this fighting classic (and a great chance to catch up if you want this on PC.)

Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition is a great DLC for every professionist of this fighting game, but the lack of some important elements is a shame. Capcom has done a good job, but Ark System Works was way more honest with the BlazBlue: Continuum Shift DLC.

Despite its price, fan soundln't miss this DLC. Yes, it's just forur new characters, but the gameplay is completely different, and the pros will feel like playing a brand new game.

If you're a hardcore Street Fighter IV fan, you obviously have to purchase this Arcade Edition in order to enjoy the latest changes of your favorite game. But some details suggest that Capcom didn't really finish its job. It's a shame, even though their game remains a reference for the genre. For more casual fighters, the bugs and balance issues we're referring to won't be really apparent, but in order to save a little money, if they didn't already fell for the regular and Super editions, they'd be well advised to wait for the boxed version - because clearly, this DLC Arcade Edition remains a little expensive as is.

Capcom enhances again its blockbuster, although perhaps the new features are not worth the price. If you have not played the previous SF4 versions, this is the best chance to try the return of the classic fighter.

If you are a fan of the series and already have the Super Street Fighter IV version, you should buy this content.

Best suited for someone who's never played Street Fighter.

A small, but really interesting update to a modern fighting game classic. There's a lot of fighters to play with now, so get to it!

Essential for committed fans, but a few curious omissions make Arcade Edition an incomplete update.
