Supreme Ruler 2010 Critic Reviews

A brilliant, challenging and rewarding game.

While Supreme Ruler 2010 is not the prettiest game in the world, it does have a lot of depth that will keep players coming back for ages.

A great muitiplayer title, but a singleplayer one that’s alternately exciting and frustrating. I sincerely hope that Battlegoat Studios works on the AI and gives us more diversified scenarios, in the very near future.

Complexity and accessibility are rarely so well-balanced in a strategy game.

Represents a ton of commitment and hard work, and I commend Battlegoat on that fact. But they do have some issues in AI, complexity and general gameplay that still leave room for improvement.

Admirably ambitious, yet also a victim of its own ambition, suffering from information/feature overload and a less-than-stellar interface.

This is a game that requires so much studying and preparation, that only those hard-core RTS gamers that really enjoyed SimCity or Civilization may want to give this everybody-wants-to-rule-the-world strategy game a try.

Despite the excellent manual, the cumbersome interface and maze of data make it seem more like a first draft of the future than mission accomplished.

This game will find an audience...that could fit into a high-school gymnasium.
