Summary
Takeda 2 is a game of epic Samurai action for the PC, set in 16th century feudal Japan . Takeda 2 puts the player in the role of Daimyo, a feudal lord fighting for the title of Shogun, supreme military commander. On the world map, players must gauge their strength as they maneuver armies and expand their territory every turn. Takeda 2’s ho-hum approach to the genre (both aesthetically and in terms of gameplay) make it a title that is hard to recommend given that there are much stronger games out there.

The randomness of much of the game can bring to ruin even the best-laid plans, and having a longtime ally stab you in the back while your army is on the other side of the map is, to say the least, frustrating.

Takeda 2 is the sequel to a mostly obscure 2001 game that had the misfortune to be released in the wake of "Shogun: Total War."
