The level of unique detail in the world is staggering. Every moment spent immersed in it is heartwarming. Fittingly, it feels positively handcrafted.

It also has charm, cleverness and enough heart to make up for five Call of Duty iterations. Tearaway is a 3D platformer mashed together with a creative craft class for adult kids, an adventure that is as close to sandbox-y as a non-sandbox game can get.

It's gorgeous, it's fun to play, it's life-affirmingly happy to the point that just thinking about playing made me grin like an idiot.

Utterly phenomenal. Tearaway is inventive and joyous in equal measures, making for one of the best adventures this year, on any platform.

This is a remarkable game, and there isn’t a Vita owner in the world that should pass it by. It’s a sublime experience and, especially at its budget retail price, is dense with gameplay mechanics that involve you as the player directly into Tearaway’s loveable little dimension.

A paper ride not to be missed and one of the few titles that bring videogames to a whole new artistic level. Plus a compelling reason to buy the PS Vita.

Tearaway is one of those rare games that gets exponentially better with its ending.

Tearaway follows in the footsteps of Gravity Rush as an example of why you should own a Vita. While it isn’t always perfect as a game, it’s an amazing experience, providing an exciting and emotional journey through a world of beauty and personality.

Tearaway almost makes you feel like the Vita was designed with this game in mind. Media Molecule is the rare gem that puts all the pieces together and has an overarching story and individual moments that leave an indelible mark on you.

Tearaway uses the PS Vita's features without feeling gimmicky, and is an exceptional example of originality in the genre.

With Tearaway, Media Molecule is showing us how good they are at the 3D platform genre. Even surpassing their own work in LittleBigPlanet, they offer us an excellent product, thanks to an incredible display of imagination, with some of the most remarkable visuals and gameplay we have seen on PlayStation Vita so far.

A game that uses the PlayStation Vita very creatively, Tearaway is a lengthy, highly original and visually beautiful experience. The combat gets a bit repetitive after a while, but that shouldn't stop Vita owners from getting their hands on this title.

I enjoyed every minute of it, and it's rare to find something that radiates as much pure joy as this does. I can't say enough good things about it.
