All in all, Texas Cheat 'Em plays fine, and the cheating aspect is handled really well.

As an avid poker player, it was fun to see a twist on the game offered on XBLA. And while Texas Cheat ’Em isn’t going to be a blockbuster hit because of its niche-like following and gameplay redundancy, it’s a fun contest for those who are familiar with poker or would like to mess around with a poker variant that has a devious side.

Cheating makes for a strong improvement on an already solid card game.

Has so many excellent little twists on poker that it adds a whole new level of fun on top of the tactics the game already employs.

If you've ever wanted to play poker with a trick up your sleeve, this is your game. It's a fun twist on a classic card game, but the presentation is pretty amateurish.

Texas Cheat ‘Em does a good job of offering a novel twist on the typical poker formula but suffers from a lack of players to make this is worthy purchase for the added value of multiplayer.

Poker purists will hate it, and poker haters may be totally uninterested. But if you like goofy games with surprising depth, this one's worth a try.

The $10 asking price is too much to plunk down for this shallow card game.

If you've been hankering to cheat in poker, there maybe something here but that has got to be a pretty small market segment; smaller still when the market is restricted to people within that group that can handle the awful graphics. Not recommended.

Only the online capabilities kept this game from falling into the basement.

Cheat 'Em is not pretty, and this is a game best viewed through a haze of smoke, sunglasses, peeking out from under the brim of your visor.

At the very least Texas Cheat 'Em does a good job of offering something new to an already saturated market.
