A classic reworked to its former glory. This works well on othe DS and is great fun, but the silly amount of depth makes it excessively complicated too.

Gamestyle does still love Theme Park just as much as when we first played it in 1994, it is still disappointing to see that EA Japan haven't added anything apart from having a little helper guide you through the game.

Deep, involving management sim with an appealing theme and enough comical touches to make you forget that you're really playing a piece of A-level economics coursework.

Not very different from versions on other consoles, Theme Park DS makes good use of the console, and is a neat package for those who want to think on the move.

Although it isn't for everyone, this DS version should definitely be snapped up by those who enjoy games that require a bit of thought and time investment, as well as by those who like to show off their creativity.

If you're a fan of simulation games or enjoy creating theme parks or managing funds, Theme Park is an excellent port from the original PC game, and it plays amazingly well on the NDS. Despite the lack of true new content and any form of multiplayer, Theme Park proved to be simultaneously challenging and interesting.

Though you'll definitely see that this game came from over a decade ago, you'll still have a lot of fun changing ticket prices, hiring guys in rhino costumes, and cleaning up after queasy kids just stepping off the rollercoaster.

Young players will immediately point at the lack of some "obvious" features such as a full multiplayer mode (the current mode only consists of visiting other players' parks without any real way of interacting with them).

Being able to swap profiles using Wi-Fi is a nice touch, but we don't need to be touched, we need to be manhandled.

Theme Park on the DS is essentially just a port, but the game has aged well and is still a fantastic title for those who like sim games.

Its depth is fairly lacking by modern standards, so genre veterans may want to stay clear, but management sim newcomers will find a well designed and fun little game.

It's not as complex as current-day management sims, but this portable remake of the 1994 classic is as addictive and time consuming as ever.

Top stuff if you've never played "Theme Park" before, but familiar otherwise.

The game does have a whimsical charm, however, and the majority of play control is touch-activated and intuitive.

A tasteful translation of an enduring classic, but it remains too cautious to satisfy those looking for innovation.
