A hilarious parody of point ‘n’ click adventures and video games in general, whose jokes are as inspired and imaginative as its puzzles.

Creating a genre-spanning adventure game is no small feat, but to do so while subverting all expectations is something to be applauded. TINGWD does all these things and more. It’s successful in melding comedy and thought-provoking gameplay. Some tropes wear out their welcome eventually, but pushing past the annoyances yields a gaming triumph. It fits among other progressive games like the Stanley Parable or Thomas Was Alone but carves out its own unique space. There isn’t anything like There Is No Game. Well, there isn’t really a game at all, right?

When it comes down to it, There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension is a bit of a misnomer. There is certainly a game to be found here, and it’s a ruddy good one. If you’re not a fan of point-and-click style adventure games, then you may want to look elsewhere, but with an experience packed with ingenious puzzles and excellent self-aware jokes, this is one of the strongest examples of the genre in recent years. It’s right up there with the best; don’t miss out.

There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension is a fun, clever little experience that anyone will enjoy. Aside from a moment at the end, the puzzles are smart without being too difficult. The writing is spot-on and well-balanced, and everything can be wrapped up in a single sitting, making it a great title for livestreaming or a long travel day. There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension is certainly one of the best games I’ve played this year, and I encourage you to check it out.

There is No Game: Wrong Dimension is paradoxically a game that is a ray of light in what has been a pretty crappy year. Draw Me A Pixel have put together a game full of humour and heart while making you peel away layer after layer of the game onion. While I have been purposefully broad about the game’s contents, I recommend this game to any point and click fan or anyone who might enjoy a silly adventure and wants to play something nice.

Every now and then, a game comes along that just absolutely blows up your expectations. There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension is one such game. Superb design, excellent voice acting, with a surprisingly moving story, it’s an undeniably endearing and unique experience.

Ultimately, we are facing a possible cult. A rather ironic thing if we think that we are facing a "no game". Now the choice is up to you, but please don't ask for a refund if something goes wrong, the developer has family members to support.

There is No Game Wrong Dimension is a delightful and very funny point'n click, which offers various parodies of different genres, takes to a well played narrator, and very clever and meta puzzles. If you like to laugh, play this (non-) game.

So what is this interactive story that I've been throwing my thumbs at, attempting to guide its fate while being exposed to cracks in the wall that separates its reality from mine? Is it an absurdly smart commentary of video games, a bonkers adventure to watch unfold, a slice of creativity rarely seen in the industry? Is it an experience that has to be felt to be understood, thanks to its talkative AI and whimsical approach? Whatever it is, one thing is for certain: There is no game.

A hilarious point-and-click presented seamlessly, There Is No Game parodies a cavalcade of video game genres in its futile attempt to stop you from playing even one. Fans of absurd, paradoxical humour will get a kick out of this one.
