Tiny Troopers is an amusing and entertaining, bit-sized little war game that has a couple of problems we hope get addressed.

Anyone who has been patiently waiting for a Cannon Fodder style game to appear on iOS needs to snatch Tiny Troopers up straight away. If you fancy a new strategy based team shooter with a cute streak then this is the game for you.

Tiny Troopers heads into the trenches and emerges victorious, as this is one war you won't want to pull your troops out of.

It's deeply absorbing, and a strategy treat that fans of the genre should not miss.

Akin to Cannon Fodder or even Grunts, you lead small squads of soldiers into battle scenarios, carrying out destruction and evacuation missions while permadeath breathes down your neck.

It has a weird control scheme that might turn people looking for a more traditional shooter off. However, if you like strategy games and shooters, this combination just might be for you. Honestly, while it's not perfect, Tiny Troopers is easily one of my favorite games I have ever played on iOS.

Legendary Cannon Fodder get's an offspring, but when kids go marching in to the Desert Storm, something doesn't add up. This cute and cuddly iRTS would have worked so much better in turns. Now the controversial graphic design that mixes up real life war with cartoons is coupled with real-time action and the set fails to meet its whole potential.

Tiny Troopers is a excellent revision of Cannon Fodder's mechanics, successfully adapted to the touchscreen interface. Unfortunately, it's also a simplicistic experience that doesn't allow any tactic approach.

Tiny Troopers is fun in small doses and has the makings of a pretty cool casual war game. It's just that the soldiers' movements aren't entirely accurate. An issue that doesn't go well with permadeath. It's certainly entertaining in its own way, but requires a lot of patience to get anywhere.

Tiny Troopers has no particular ambitions if not reincarnate the spirit of Cannon Fodder with a gameplay geared to maximum immediacy.

Whilst it has a few good ideas, Tiny Troopers isn't interesting enough to hold your attention for very long.
