Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Desert Siege Critic Reviews

If you already own the original, this is a must have. If you don't own the original; shame on you. Pick up Ghost Recon and the expansion in one swoop.

At just over three bucks a throw, it's some of the best money you'll ever spend on PC gaming.

Even without the numerous enhancements, tweaks, and goodies, Desert Siege is worth its price for the mission editor alone.

Multiplayer fans will benefit the most, as the expansion offers new maps and a whole new environment for legalized mayhem.

A solid, albeit short expansion to what is a great game. However, it won't serve to attract disillusioned "Rainbow Six" players.

For only twenty dollars you get a few more hours of tense single player excitement and some notable general performance enhancements both in single player and multiplayer. That alone is more than worth your time and attention.

Lots of replayability here if you like online play.

A great add on for a great game. Those of you who loved Ghost Recon should rush out and buy this right now.

It also features some subtle but important improvements to the original gameplay that make Ghost Recon a more polished and enjoyable game as a whole.

The desert settings are a great addition to the game integrating that all important immersive feeling of actually "being there."

Desert Siege brings virtually nothing new in terms of mission design, interface, weapons (well you get some new ones in multiplayer) or anything like that. It's a pretty straightforward expansion pack.

It's a decent expansion pack, but nothing so bold that it would cause heart palpitations.

The expansion levels are uniformly superb in both single and multiplayer. But make no mistake, Desert Siege is for expert players only.

A definite step-forward for fans of Ghost Recon...However if you found problems with the original title, particularly in its engine limitations, then don't expect these to have disappeared.
