Even players who aren't die-hard fans of the shooter genre will enjoy the game, if they give it a little time to grow on them.

Don't let the steep learning curve throw you off; if you take the time to figure it out, you'll find one of the deepest combat sims out there.

Though the deathmatch mode is decent, this game hurts without online play. For all the customization and realism there is, there's only so much you can do.

If multiplayer is not a big factor for you, Rogue Spear's single-player game is certainly worth the price of admission. It's long and challenging, and it features a unique style of gameplay that mixes thoughtful planning with tense action.

It's a brilliant, well-executed game with a few nagging shortcomings that keep it from reaching its true potential.

This is a game of strategy and time, so quick-gamers need not apply.

Not much has changed from the prequel though, since "Rogue Spear's" gameplay is still a tougher-than-your-Grandma's-veracose-veins cookie to swallow.

I urge each and every one of you to get at least a keyboard before doing so. You'll save yourself a whole mess of frustration if you do.

Die-hard R6ers might get a kick out of it, but I don't recommend it to newbies unless you're just itchin to play dress up with some big bad army men.
