Anyone that played the PC version should be right at home here. In fact, the game is basically the same all around, which, disappointingly, means that the XBLA version of the game also lacks co-op. This is the only real downside to Torchlight.

Torchlight is a highly enjoyable game, easy to get the hang of and the over all design elements are very pleasing. Torchlight by Runic Games is necessary game to have in the library of games for any true sword and sorcery fan. This game is dungeon crawling, sword and sorcery at its purest and fun form.

This is one you will enjoy from start to finish, and it absolutely belongs in your 360 library.

Torchlight is what happens when developers with a passion for what they do come together. You can tell the guys and gals that made this game truly love the genre and know what makes it fun.

Even without multiplayer, Torchlight makes for a remarkably entertaining 10 to 15 hours, with plenty more custom content to come thanks to the powerful game editor TorchED, which you can download free of charge.

Fortunately, what this exceptional new version of a PC favorite lacks in story, it more than makes up for with deep character customization, ever-more-powerful loot, and a dungeon-generation system that'll devour whole days of your life.

In the end, Torchlight is a home-run for any Action RPG fan! It's an easy "Buy" at 1200 MP and no fan of the genre should be without it.

Even without multiplayer, however, Torchlight on XBLA is as close as you can get to dungeon crawling nirvana for $15. Like its PC counterpart, it removes the cruft of the genre, allowing players to get right down to the loot-driven core with a minimum of fuss. And now, thanks to the streamlined controls, we get it all without the constant clacking of a mouse.

Having never played Torchlight on the PC before, I was floored by everything the game had to offer. The looting, the character progression, and the addictive combat -- all wrapped up in an attractive bow with a low price point -- make for one fun game that you shouldn't pass up.

It's fun, nice to look at, and will scratch your OCD itch of needing the next level of plate mail to complete your awesome battle attire.

Minor graphical issues and clunky inventory management aside, Torchlight for XBLA does a spectacular job of translating a PC dungeon hack-and-slasher to two analogue sticks and face buttons.

With deep character customization and addicting gameplay, Torchlight becomes easily worth the 1200 Microsoft Point price tag.

When love and passion for dungeon crawlers come together, the results are games like Torchlight. This action/RPG is the best choice for those who just canʼt wait for Diablo III. Great gameplay, long hours, addiction and a low price tag, all in one!

For those looking for something to tide them over until Diablo III finally comes out, Torchlight should be your first port of call. However, if you already played the PC version, there is little here to make you buy it again.

If you liked Diablo then Torchlight is your thing! The fingerprints of the former Blizzard developers are all over this and it feels great. This game proofs that this genre is not out-dated. Get yourself back in the mood for a dungeon crawler.

While Torchlight's original faults still stand, the game lends itself wonderfully to the Xbox 360 controller, and we found ourselves preferring the console edition. If you're looking for a hack 'n' slasher to lose a week's worth of nights to, then sit down - you've found it.

Torchlight is probably the closest thing to a Diablo experience on the Xbox 360. The perfectly translated controls and addictive gameplay makes this a must-buy for anyone with an affinity for loot hoarding. If anything, it serves as a great appetizer for the much-anticipated sequel.

Torchlight was originally made on a tiny budget in under a year, with all of around 25 people working at Runic at the height of development. For all that, it's a better dungeon crawler than most everything else that has been released post-Diablo II.

Despite the strange inventory, Torchlight is incredibly fun and addicting.

It has charm and polish that elevate it beyond a simple Diablo clone to something special in its own right.
