Trailmakers is a great open world build-em-up with a fantastic campaign mode. The camera in the build screen can be a bit of a pain in the chuff. Just don't call it a Lego game.

Despite a hugely flawed single-player campaign and some control issues, Trailmakers succeeds commendably with the Lego-style vehicle building and online template sharing. Get stuck into the Rally mode and enjoy modding your vehicles to win races, then compete online in the sandbox modes and you'll have lots of fun.

If making your own vehicles holds appeals, especially if you have some engineering knowledge, you’ll have a lot of fun with this. Just be aware that the world you’ll explore is little more than a glorified testing ground.
