Trials Evolution is a complete success. A must-have that refined everything and is so addictive, well-crafted, and comprehensive that we barely made time to write our review.

It's also hard to stop playing Trials Evolution for very long. The action is as tight and demanding as it ever was, and this time around it's such a fully featured and attractive package that you shouldn't miss it if you have any interest in this style of game at all. It's one of the best games to hit a downloadable service in a good long while.

Trials Evolution takes the original's winning formula, improves the presentation, adds new game modes, multiplayer content and caps it off with an unbelievably deep level editing suite, giving the sequel near infinite replay value. Far from a lazy follow-up, or a quick cash-in, Trials Evolution takes a massive leap forward, proving beyond any shadow of a doubt that Xbox Live Arcade releases can hang with the best of them. The clue is in the name, this is a sequel that has well and truly evolved.

In short, every addition RedLynx has made to Evolution serves to bolster the offerings of Trials HD, while continuing to highlight the game's base: a fantastic physics engine that drives a flow that is simultaneously simple, addictive and frantic. Now if you'll excuse me, I have another nine years of mastering Trials Evolution ahead of me.

The way it plays is a measure of beautiful precision and patience, and when you couple the community aspect to the near perfect gameplay, it makes for a package which is one of the strongest of 2012 so far, and we have a feeling that in terms of Evolution, the best is yet to come.

Trials Evolution is really the best Xbox Live Arcade game to date. It is challenging, it is fun and the new courses are brilliant. For 1.200 Microsoft Points you will get a huge amount of content.

As the saying goes, "bigger and better", and that's exactly what Trials Evolution is. This is the perfect example of what an XBLA title should be.

Overall, Trials Evolution is definitely one of the best Xbox Live Arcade titles available, if not the best. The title improves on everything from its predecessor and goes one step further with the incredible track editor and the addition of multiplayer. Other developers take note: this is how sequels should be done.

Trials Evolution is about as close as you can get to a perfect downloadable package. It has nearly limitless potential to entertain gamers, and its addictive properties are unmatched. If you liked the first game, this is a no-brainer. If you were lukewarm to the original, I suggest giving it another go.

With an intensely addictive gameplay model - the sort usually seen in the likes of Angry Birds - and expertly created tracks and game modes, Trials Evolution is a must-buy.

Fans of the original Trials will love the steps the series has taken to move forward while being more open for newcomers to jump right in and have fun with it. It can be a bit frustrating at times though, as the game almost has an old-school platformer feel to it being easy to learn, but very difficult to master.

Trials Evolution is fantastic fun. Its simplicity and beguiling depth encourages replay, and the addition of social functions encourages a competitive streak in even the most placid of players. It's the perfect sequel to an almost perfect game.

If you didn't care for the first Trials, this isn't going to change your mind at all. However, if you fell in love with Trials HD back in the summer of 2009, get ready, because you are about to meet the new love of your life!

Trials Evolution just might be the best Xbox Live Arcade game out there. There's a ton of trial and error going on, but you'll keep coming back for more no matter what.
