A fantastic simulation of Superbike road racing wrapped up with some delicious audio/visuals which perfectly encapsulates the relentless speed and terror of the Isle of Man TT. A wholesale improvement on the first game and well worth investing the time it takes to get to grips with the challenging handling.

These two additional years of development will have made an excellent motorcycle game. TT Isle of Man 2 is more successful on all fronts. It is above all the new content and the additional features of a real Tourist Trophy season that gives it a more ecumenical aspect. You no longer need to be an insider and a fierce competitor to the Isle of Man event. You can now discover this event gently and progress step by step with a real evolution curve. The fact remains that its demanding handling puts you to the test, so that you can enjoy all the pleasure of both finishing a race, but also being in good standing.

The second installment of this unique motorcycle racing game has a better driving model, provides a fantastic feeling of speed and its open world is actually interesting. It’s dragged down, however, by the weird system of perks - and also by the fact that it’s so harsh and unforgiving.

TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2 is a game for racing genre fans who enjoy more realistic gameplay. The game is easy enough to pick up and play, but it's far more difficult - though rewarding - to become a skilled racer. Although online multiplayer falls a bit flat due to the current player base, the game’s Career mode certainly makes up for it and is well-worth your time. TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2 is fast, fun, and the best racing title so far in 2020.

The most dangerous moto race doesn't exactly make for the most dangerous videogame, but it comes admiringly close. There's room for improvement, especially as far as loading times and multiplayer content are concerned, but overall this realistic race sim will keep you firmly glued to the tip of your seat.

TT isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2 is a pretty solid racer, with a very fast and challenging gameplay, some really nice landscapes and a compelling career mode.

TT Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge 2 represents a positive step forward. Handling is improved and feels a lot less skittish and unsure. There's still danger and a good sense of speed with sound design working to great effect. Career mode is a lot meatier with some really smart changes to structure and environments remain carefully considered and well designed. Above all, there's a more comprehensive experience here that should keep road racers satisfied.

With the real-life Isle of Man races cancelled this year due to current health concerns, TT Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge 2 is the only place to get your adrenaline-filled motorcycle kicks this year. As a simulation of how fast, dangerous and difficult racing at this event can be, there isn’t anything better. Sure, the elements surrounding the riding, such as AI, career structure and track list, still need some refining, but despite these foibles, this is still the best motorcycle game out there.

For fans of the Isle of Man TT, however, it's a great adaptation. An exciting emulation of the iconic race, motor racing enthusiasts would be wise to pick this up if they want to experience the thrill of the TT from the comfort of their own homes. Given the growing trend of cancellations over COVID-19, at least this virtual version of the course is available.

TT Isle of Man Ride on the Edge 2 is a big improvement over the previous game. KT Racing really went a mile to make it better in all fronts instead of giving a nominal upgrade and slapping a new number to the title. The driving physics feel good (and more forgiving), the sense of scope is much bigger with added racing locations, the presentation is professional and the revamped career mode has a terrific amount of content. If you want instant rewards from your racing game, however, this one is not for you as it takes a long-time engagement to be competitive. The game is certainly tough but it doesn’t take away from the fact that TT Isle of Man 2 stands among the best adaptations of riding a motorcycle in video games. Maybe in the next iteration we get more personality through more profound customization.

Ride on the Edge 2 is a well crafted, enjoyable and unique motorcycle racer, but KT Games needs to lower the difficulty and make it accessible to more players if they have any intentions in continuing this franchise.

The improved handling makes for a much more playable game and career mode is satisfying and slick. It’s a little stretched feeling and overly-familiar, but still a class act.

A blisteringly quick and dangerous-feeling racing game, TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2 is a plain package and doesn’t quite nail the balance between its serious tone and arcade-style flourishes, but it packs some top-notch two-wheeled racing. If you have the reflexes, that is.

For those who enjoyed the original TT Isle of Man, the sequel Ride on the Edge 2 raises the stakes with an improved career mode that delivers a more immersive experience. Sign with a manufacturer to get access to their livery, then proceed to unlock perks and part upgrades to enhance the performance of those bikes with each successive race. Newcomers can easily pick up and learn the ropes while making good progress on the stat sheets thanks to the arcade-like controls that don't make the racing experience too complicated, unlike the more realistic sim racer. However, beyond the career mode, there is a basic online mode to further gain some racing experience. While this isn't the premium two-wheeled racer on consoles, it is a step in the right direction for Kylotonn.

TT Isle of Man: Ride on the edge 2 does not know whether to be a simulation or an arcade, becoming an enjoyable, exciting and fast racing without being as memorable as the race it is inspired by.

A handful of improvements and overhauled physics make this audaciously exciting bike sim easy to recommend.
