If these grand strategy titles were your cup of tea, I would recommend this game. The complexity of the game makes it a poor choice for twitch gamers.

Not overly complex in terms of overall gameplay. It is geared for novices to the genre and will provide a light challenge to veterans. Consider this merely an average title.

Terminally flawed, a hollow exercise in empire building -- call it real-time strategy for Dummies. There's nothing wrong with focusing on a particular time period, but the design seems willfully shallow and superficial.

The AI is incredibly slow, the weighted use of units in battle is tilted in favor of quantity, the overall economic basis for the game is completely dull and the historical events that manage to spring up during the game do little to further make the game entertaining.

The relatively limited scope, clunky build interface, and lackluster AI mean this isn't a game for veteran strategy gamers looking for a challenge.

Staving off complete suckage, multiplay is where Thrones actually works.

Nothing but ancient and out-of-date.

Yet another attempt at "Europa Universalis Lite" - one that tries to reduce the depth of EU into a mind-numbing series of repetitive tasks.

The lack of design nous displayed here makes it feel as though it was knocked out by two guys over a weekend.
