TxK is LSD in binary form. TxK is an excellent tunnel shooter and evolution of the Tempest-theme.

Definitely take a look at TxK if you’ve ever enjoyed any version of Tempest. Heck, grab it even if you haven’t and give yourself a proper introduction to a truly great game.

This is twitch gaming at its finest, with beautifully tuned thumbstick controls and a pulsing rave soundtrack that only seems to focus the mind more sharply.

TxK is the best arcade game available for PlayStation Vita. The latest fatigue from Jeff Minter is packed with an incredible gameplay, brilliant special effects and a stunning soundtrack, elements that made the Llamasoft game a true killer application for the Sony’s handheld.

The pounding beats and explosions of colour that used to punch you square in the brain fade into the background as time slows and TxK arrests every second of your attention the way few games ever can.

There are many reasons to treat yourself and your Vita with TxK. The gameplay’s sharp, the soundtrack’s fantastic, and it’s one of those games were you’ll keep feeling like you can improve your high score with just one more go.

Apparently chaotic and impossible to control, TxK is in fact a perfectly designed game, immersed in a psychedelic tempest. A great old school shooter, with tight controls and superb level design.

Whilst it might take a while to click, once it does, nothing can stop TxK taking over your life.

There might be some sensory overload at the start, but once you settle in, everything comes naturally. It is the ideal old-school arcade shmup that should appeal to nostalgic and contemporary gamers alike.

TXK is a lesson for the future while a phenomenal return to the past. It is a game from another era to a new generation.
