The game creates a compelling sense of dread, and packs just enough into a relatively small package that multiple plays are essentially required just to find everything that it has to offer. For anyone that’s a fan of a less action-oriented style of horror, the seething mysteries of Uncanny Valley are definitely worth looking into.

Traditional but polished and intimidating horror with pixel graphics.

Uncanny Valley may seem expensive at about 10 euros for a title lasting for about 6 to 7 hours, but it's so well designed that it's really worth every cent you spend.

Uncanny Valley doesn't always get it right, but still manages to be an effective horror adventure well-worth your time.

Uncanny Valley is a survival horror that delivers tension and a story-driven experience. On the other hand the title is short, it has some technical issues, and the way it tells you the story is a bit confusing.

We enjoyed the idea at its core, but a poor execution leaves the player confused. Still, as long as you're aware of its issues, we think it's an adventure you might like.

In the end, Uncanny Valley brings an interesting premise and gameplay features that are plagued by arbitrary mechanics and technical limitations. With a bit more polish, Cowardly Creations’ next game may be the one to put the Indie studio on the map.

An interesting psychological horror which sadly doesn't make the most of its setup.

I wanted to enjoy Uncanny Valley, especially with its opening concept and jump scares, but despite all the assurances and hard work with those patches, it just wasn't to be.
