Unquestionably the best-looking light-gun game ever released, as well as a game that will seem instantly familiar to "House of the Dead" fans while still pushing their skills.

If you really like light-shooters and are looking for something different than a modern setting, you will probably find the game a breath of fresh air.

If you're a fan of shooters and have a predilection for Ed Wood then this game has your name written all over it.

With the reload option assigned to the bottom button, you can constantly reload as you shoot without moving the gun from the screen. This adds a whole new level of sweetness to the boss battles.

You can't help but feel that Vampire Night is more of a step back in the genre as far as gameplay is concerned.

Ultimately, Vampire Night lacks the sparkle that the best examples of this genre display. It looks good, sounds okay (apart from some cheesy voice-acting) and whilst it lasts (not very long as it happens) it is quite entertaining.

Wants to be the PlayStation 2’s "House of the Dead," but it lacks creativity and spooky bite.

Vampire Night isn't the best light-gun game out there, but it's still a decent game and certainly the best looking light-gun shooter on any system.

It's generic in just about every way, from cheesy dialogue to predictable enemies.

I'd like a more memorable and challenging shooter for my hard-earned dough. Call me crazy.

A solid, enjoyable romp Vampire Night may be, but it adheres strictly to the same trite concepts we've seen recycled so many times before.

There are a few memorable experiences to be found in this game, but in the end, this is sadly an average game.

As bland as they come. The cheesy plot and acting come with gun game territory but the horrendous gameplay doesn’t do much to make this game a keeper.

The graphics, though slick, lack the sort of interest I expected and are actually quite bland.
